Abington Library to Open Outdoor Laptop Cafe

The Abington Township Public Library has created a unique, socially distanced way for locals to access the internet, Microsoft Office, and wireless printing for free. The Laptop Cafe will be a tented area next to the library where anyone can access laptops for up to 40 minutes at a time. Beginning April 7th, the Cafe will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm and from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to book a reservation by calling 215-885-5180 ext. 113 or emailing AbingtonLibrary@mclinc.org. Walk-ups will be accepted depending on the availability of laptops. Guests can also bring their own laptops and access the WiFi. Staff will be available for tech help and to ensure that safe social distancing guidelines are followed.
